The demonstration that a great wine can be made using the huge heritage of our country’s native vines. The wine glass turns into a dark but bright ruby-red, the scents are of great impact, with an intense fruity content of blackberry and cherry, enhanced by notes of aromatic herbs, cinnamon, cloves, cocoa, liquorice and an intriguing mineral hint. To the taste it shows a significant structure, well balanced between the warm embrace, conveyed by the proof, and the adequate freshness; the tannin is soft and the persistence is very hard. It stays one year in barrique. Perfect on aged cheese. Ready to be drunk immediately, but it also stands a 7-8-years ageing.
